Vanguard Auto Spa is a mobile car detailing business serving greater Seattle. This page explains what information we collect when you use this website, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Booking details you give us: your name, email, mobile number, the cars and services you choose, and any gift card code.
- Scheduling details: when you pick a time, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your appointment time, the address where the car will be, and any notes you add.
- Gift card details: the buyer's name and email, the recipient's name, and the optional message.
- Payment: deposits and gift cards are paid through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Website activity: if advertising measurement is turned on, the Meta Pixel and related cookies record things like pages viewed and whether a booking was completed.
How we use it
- To confirm and carry out your detail, and to text or email you about your booking.
- To issue and honor gift cards.
- To measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. When you book, we may send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone number along with the booking event, so Meta can tell our ads worked without us sharing the details in readable form.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who else handles it
- Stripe for payments
- Calendly for scheduling and booking texts
- Meta for ad measurement
- Our website host, which stores this site and its records
Your choices
- You can control ad cookies in your browser settings, and see or change how Meta uses activity for ads in your Meta ad preferences.
- To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email thevanguardautospa@gmail.com or text (206) 698-8138.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and gift card records as long as needed to provide the service, honor gift cards, and meet tax and accounting rules.
